❖ Art Card 'Saint Martin and the Beggar'

Sharing what you have – and thus giving light and warmth.

The art card "Saint Martin and the Beggar" by Anne Gies depicts the well-known legend of Saint Martin: high on his horse, Saint Martin encounters a freezing beggar and shares his red cloak with him.

Anne Gies tells this special moment in bright, warm colors, making the card a wonderful companion through the St. Martin's and lantern season. A motif about compassion, helpfulness, and sharing – wonderful for the seasonal table, as a small decoration, or to visually introduce children to the story of Saint Martin.
