The hare is made from local cherry wood. The natural oils highlight the wood's color and protect against quick soiling. All corners and edges are softly rounded. There are no metal parts like nails or screws. The pull cord is made of cotton, which generates very little heat when gliding through delicate hands. True to style, the hare raises and lowers its hindquarters when pulled.
