Book 'Picopaco'

A heartwarming picture book about being different, solidarity, and the strength of a community

Picopaco is a woodpecker – but not like the others. Instead of living in a tree hollow, she lives in a self-built wooden house. She likes peace and quiet and prefers to keep her distance from the hustle and bustle of the bird village. Making friends with the others is not easy for her, even though all she really wants is to belong.

One day, when a fierce storm sweeps through the forest and destroys almost all the nests, the bird village faces a great challenge. Only Picopaco's house withstood the storm. It is immediately clear: the other birds need her help!
