Book 'The Gnome Journey'

With the arrival of spring, the three gnomes Zirbel, Nießerich, and Schlucker awaken in their house under the old oak tree. Nießerich and Schlucker decide to build a boat and set out to find their brother Wolkennase, who left long ago to find the silver spring.

Thus begins their journey upriver, which leads them, among other places, through the dark Crow's Wood, where they encounter the Great Grum. Only with the help of numerous friends and a good dose of courage do they survive the journey and finally arrive home safely before winter can take its toll.

In England, this wonderful book is mentioned in the same breath as classics like "Watership Down", and now, beautifully and lavishly illustrated by Daniela Drescher, it is available in German.
